1. Acceptance of Terms

 

 

By accessing our website, submitting forms, or engaging The Nanny Station LLC (“we,” “our,” “us”) for nanny referral and placement services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of our website and services.

 

 

 

2. Description of Services

 

 

The Nanny Station provides nanny referral and placement services, caregiver screening, family consultations, and optional add-on services such as payroll support. We do not employ the nannies we refer; families serve as the direct employer of any caregiver they hire.

 

 

 

3. Client Responsibilities

 

 

Families agree to:

 

  • Provide accurate information during all forms and consultations

  • Communicate professionally and respectfully

  • Not contact nannies directly outside of our coordinated process

  • Review and comply with all placement policies including trial periods and rematch rules

  • Make all required payments prior to beginning a search, interviews, or trial periods

 

 

 

 

4. Placement Fees & Payments

 

 

  • All consultation fees, placement fees, and add-on service fees must be paid before services begin.

  • Payments are processed securely through HoneyBook.

  • All deposits and placement fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing.

  • Full payment is required before the start of a trial period.

 

 

 

 

5. Trial Periods & Rematch Policy

 

 

Trial periods and rematches are governed by The Nanny Station’s internal policies:

 

 

Premium Placement Station

 

 

  • 7-day trial

  • 1 rematch included

 

 

 

White Glove Placement Station

 

 

  • 14-day trial

  • 1 rematch included

 

 

 

Additional Rematches

 

 

  • Additional rematch fee applies

  • The original trial window does not reset during a rematch

 

 

Families must follow all communication and scheduling rules during trial periods and interviews.

 

 

 

6. Confidentiality & Non-Circumvention

 

 

Families agree not to bypass The Nanny Station by hiring or contacting any nanny introduced through our agency outside of the official placement process.

 

Nannies agree not to provide their personal contact information directly to families during the interview process.

 

All profiles, documents, and screening materials are confidential and may not be copied, shared, or distributed externally.

 

 

 

7. Nanny Responsibilities

 

 

Nannies agree to:

 

  • Provide truthful, accurate information during applications and interviews

  • Maintain professionalism at all times

  • Follow The Nanny Station’s confidentiality and communication rules

 

 

 

 

8. Website Use

 

 

Users may not:

 

  • Use our website for unlawful or harmful purposes

  • Attempt to disrupt or compromise website functionality

  • Copy or misuse website content, branding, or internal materials

 

 

 

 

9. Intellectual Property

 

 

All branding, logos, graphics, forms, documents, language, and materials used by The Nanny Station LLC are the exclusive property of the business. They may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without explicit written permission.

 

 

 

10. Limitation of Liability

 

 

The Nanny Station LLC is not responsible for:

 

  • The conduct, performance, or behavior of any nanny or caregiver once hired

  • Employment disputes between families and caregivers

  • Outcomes of any employment relationship

  • Losses resulting from misuse of information or violation of policies

 

 

Families serve as the direct employer and are responsible for complying with all state and federal household employment laws.

 

 

 

11. Third-Party Services

 

 

We may use trusted third-party providers such as HoneyBook or background check services. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or security of these third-party platforms. Users are encouraged to review each provider’s terms and policies before use.

 

 

 

12. Termination of Services

 

 

We reserve the right to terminate services for:

 

  • Policy violations

  • Fraudulent or misleading information

  • Failure to comply with payment terms

  • Harassment or inappropriate conduct toward staff or caregivers

 

 

 

 

13. Governing Law

 

 

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey. Any disputes shall be resolved within New Jersey jurisdiction.

 

 

 

14. Updates to Terms

 

 

We may update these Terms & Conditions periodically. The most recent version will always be accessible through our website. Continued use of our services indicates acceptance of any updated terms.
